Looking for a fun adventure for your kids to enjoy this summer while simultaneously learning about the importance of citizen science and our environment? Learning Endeavors is offering a June Citizen Science Outdoor Summer Camp for ages 8 -12! It will take place June 7-10, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Camp tuition will be $195 per child, with the option for a sibling discount of $15, and will include a T-shirt! Campers will encounter forests, wetlands, tide pools and MORE! They will engage in hi-tech citizen science and hands-on science labs, as well as fun art projects! On the final day camp will culminate in performances and presentations.
Day 1 - Hiking adventure at Waihe'e Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge.
Day 2 - Wetlands Exploration at Kealia Ponds National Wildlife Refuge.
Day 3 - Hands-on tide pools investigation in North Kihei.
Day 4 - Camp wrap up with art projects, games and performances at the VFW in North Kihei. Parents are welcome to come at 12 pm to watch the performances and celebrate all of the fun the campers have over the course of the week.
